Einherjar
During Valkyrie Profile, you play as Lenneth Valkyrie on a mission from Odin to gather and train 'Einherjar' the spirit of warriors who have died in battle, and send them from Midgard to Asgard to fight for Odin in the Sacred War. Since Time passes sumultaneously in Asgard and Midgard, Valkyrie must train and develop Einherjar to send to Odin quickly. To train and develop Einherjar you have to bring them into battle and constantly train them, so they can be of use in the Sacred War. After every Sacred Phase or Chapter, Freya will ask for a certain type of Einherjar to send to Aesir. More In detail can be seen in the 'Sacred Phases' Section. Ultimately, you have to send Einherjar with Freya to Aesir or not Aesir will lose the Sacred War.
