Battle System
Unlimited SaGa is attributed it's individuality by it's sole game mechanics. It's game system is similiar to a 'Game Board', where you move around not by exploring a world map, but by exploring a artwork landscape that acts as the world map as you explore the world of Unlimited SaGa. However, due to this any many underlining factors that push most game players and Role Playing Game players away from U-SaGa. Unlike any other regular standard Role Playing Game, Unlimited SaGa relies the sole battle system known as the 'Reel Battle System.' Since the battle system is so varient and so un-standard, that Square called the entire game, as 'Hardcore.'
The gameplay is attributed as 'Hardcore,' from Square-Enix, due to the fact that U-SaGa is a complete luck and gambling game, almost all features are based on slots, whereas other standard Role Playing games base their game system on tactics and strategy thinking, Unlimited SaGa delves it's base from slots, where any slot determines the action of the character, where it may be a basic Attack, a magic spell, or a item usage. This changes the original tactical aspect to an unreliable system that uses sheer luck to win battles, which turns for normal Role Playing gamers. Alternatively, the gameplay is much more of a variable, meaning that anything could happen, a character could suddenly eliminate the entire enemy squad. This poses an unpredictable gameplay, so for a range of people, this battle system imposes a varied gameplay enjoyment. However, for more tactical RPG players; the gameplay is terrible and horrible. U-SaGa's battle system is very un-standard and can provide many issues that create more reasons for all players to yell and smash.
On the Basic Slot Reels of the Unlimited SaGa Gameplay; is the complete functionality of the battle system.
