history
Basically this website wasn't born out of thin air and some random day's work. It started out of my wonder of the internet and the my new interest in Final Fantasy. I had already created a website that focused on RPGs and Anime, after about two years, it ultimately failed. It only reached medicore success and after a discussion with several people I decided to close it down. I had a discussion with
Josh and he came up with a name for the website (after I had zero inspiration) - it was Square Nexus. After about three months of hard work I had started with a Final Fantasy VII section and a design created by Kala. It was a darker schemed design and boasted a simplistic feel. With more sections being uploaded, Square Nexus got even popular and boasted almost an average of 200 hits a day. Then, while I was changing to a new design, my computer crashed and I lost all of my content. Basically without anything left, I decided to close it for good. A month later, I dedcided to reopen Square Nexus with the same design, and soon it gradually built up some of its hits. Later I decided to change to the second design, which was also designed by Kala. It then again died from the lack of news and lack of updates.
Then after a few inspiring ideas, I designed version three, by far the most simplistic and was the revival of Square Nexus. Although it didn't recieve many hits after the new version, I worked really hard to develop a better website with more content. Still with no increased luck of a better site, I then decided to make a new design, due to the fact that version three was complained of being too plain. The fourth design was extremely dark and hard to navigate, more content sections later and then I decided that a new design was in order. And here it is, a fresher, cleaner, more stylistic design that boasts easier navigation and more professionalism. |
