FFXIII Demo May Be Sold Seperately

For those not willing to buy the new Final Fantasy Advent Children: Complete when it launches in March, rumor has it that there may actually be a way to acquire it by itself.

While, again, everything is just a rumor at this point, designer Tetsuya Nomura has hinted that there will in fact be a seperate version of the demo offered on a Blu-ray disc for a price. This wouldn’t be offered for a little while after the initial sales of the disc, so don’t sit around waiting for it to hit the shelves in March.

Square Enix Makes Takeover Bid For Tecmo

In an attempt to further extend their dominance of the video game market outside of Japan and the RPG world, Square Enix has made a takeover bid on the publishing company Tecmo. Tecmo has been known for some great games world wide, specifically their action titles such as Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive. These titles have helped Tecmo gain a major foothold in the U.S. market and that’s exactly why Square Enix has shown so much interest in them.

The hopes are high with Square Enix as much of their content at this point is focused on Japan and the RPG market first. Having a publishing company that handles specifically action based games. That would free up the desire to focus on something other than what they excel at just by attaining a foothold in Tecmo.

Square Enix To Address 18 Hour Boss Battles In FFXI

After plenty of media coverage and the decision of one very responsible guild, Square Enix has finally noticed that their 18-hour long boss battles were just a bit too much for the players of Final Fantasy XI Online. We recently covered how one guild decided that instead of pushing through the battle and attempting to defeat the boss, they would actually bow out rather than let their members become physically ill.

The game developers have created a patch that will decrease the difficulty level of the specific boss in question, Pandemonium Warden, and two other end game bosses known as Absolute Virtue and Jailer of Love. This patch unfortunately won’t be hitting the game until late September.

Get Closer To The World Of Infinite Undiscovery

We’re coming closer to the release date of Square Enix’s Infinite Undiscovery and not much has made it’s way out there for those not following the concept closely to pick up on. The game itself follows the story of a world where the moon is believed to be the throne of a God. Civilization has only prospered due to the ability to harvest the energy from it. So in this world, it’s only natural that the destiny of man is tied directly to that moon.

In an attempt to take more from the moon then they have already so graciously received, a group of men known as the Order of Chains and lead by an individual known only as the Dreadknight have actually chained the moon to the Earth and have rained down fear and terror across the world.
