Nanashi no Game Shortage In Japan
With the press building behind the Japanese release of Nanashi no Game, it’s not surprising to see that ti’s become very difficult to find it in Japan. Unfortunately, the reasoning behind this isn’t that the game has become so popular that it’s selling out everywhere, it would appear that these stores just aren’t getting enough stock to sell.
Nanashi no Game is a horror/suspense game for the Nintendo DS that gives players exactly seven days to complete the game before they die. That is, the character they’re portraying of course. The title has received a lot of interesting press and has already had it’s soundtrack released over iTunes in Japan, so it’s a wonder that it hasn’t even made it’s way onto the Media Create top 50 sales chart.
So while fans world wide are clamoring for this game, it doesn’t seem like the hype was supported by the production and distribution side of Square Enix. Only time will tell how well this game does as we give it a chance to actually hit the shelves and become more popular the world over when it inevitably launches for the rest of the world.
