Final Fantasy Agito XIII Info Revealed
The decision to move Final Fantasy Agito XIII over to the PSP was about all the information that was given at last months Square Enix party. But recently, Famitsu has had a chance to report on some additional information about Final Fantasy Agito XIII and of course the information surrounding the Final Fantasy XIII demo on the Final Fantasy: Advent Children Complete Blu-ray disc.
Originally thought that the platform was just switched from mobile to PSP, an interview with Tetsuyo Nomura and Hajime Tabata of Square Enix revealed that it was intended to meet the PSP from the start. The announcement simply sets the stage for the PSP version to come out before the mobile version.
One of the few clues that have slipped out from the party was the word “Lucy”. Apparently we’ll be seeing the connection between the new Final Fantasy XIII games and that word revealed in the near future. All we know for now is that it will connect them in some way.
The story behind Agito seems to revolve around the breaking of the Pax Codex by a man named Cid. Cid has sent out multiple Lucies for an invasion of your country. The fighting style will be similar to Crisis Core in the sense that it will employ some of the Active Time Battle system elements from that game. However, fighting will be a party-based system, making things much more interesting.
What’s interesting about Agito is that the game designers have mentioned that there may be an infrastructure mode, allowing for you and up to three others to control your party and battle it out. Unfortunately, it hasn’t been decided yet if this will make its way into the final version of the game.

Yeeeesss. They need to fuckin’ do it. It would be nice to play a FF game with all party members running around the battlefield being controlled by all your friends, individually using their PSP’s!!
