Unlike the other regular characters, the Secret Characters are units that you can recieve once you meet them in the Story. They are Characters that have custom sprites, so actual characters in the story, such as Babus or Ritz. Each different character usually has a unique jobset. Ezel has the jobset 'Hermetic' which can only be used by him, and Ritz although a human, has Viera Jobset patterns.

Babus	Clear the Left Behind mission, then enter a town and clear the With Babus mission.
Judgemaster Cid	Clear all 300 numbered missions.
Ezel	Choose Gossip in the Card Shop, then clear the Reconciliation mission.
Ritz	Clear the Mortal Snow mission.
Shara	Clear the A Maiden's Cry mission, then enter a town.
