Gambits

Automate your party using customized commands called "Gambits." The gambits equiped on each character determine how and under what conditions they will attack, cast Magick, use Technicks, or consume items. Each character's setup can range from basic attacks and healing to in-depth scripting such as automatically casting Magicks based onn enemy's weaknesses, or curing specific status ailments.

Gambits can be turned on or off at any time for any character. Those who prefer a more hands-on approach to combat can issue specific commands to their characters in the conventionl manner. For example, you can set gambits to automate character actions in battle (Ally HP < 70% Cast Cure) The character will automatically cast healing magicks on themselves if their HP falls below 70% of their maximum.
