In Dirge of Cerberus, you can create a wide variety of weapons that have create different damage and affect different enemies differently. There are five options that create the different weapon.

The Gun Frame
Barrels
Scopes
Boosters
Accessories

These options will change the effect and range. The Gun frame is the essential starting point for each weapon. These weapons are automagically equiped to Vincent and can have a devastating effect.
